India population growth

According to the daily Yomiuri, Almas Ali senior adviser at the Population Foundation of India. India is a huge country; and there are about 1 billion Indian lived on it. In this article Yomiuri discuses some question with the senior adviser about the population growth change in India and it is; age structure a rare occurrence, optimistic, unemployment and the kind of negative problem effect on India. The adviser gives Yomiuri a lot of information about these questions that Hanada asked about it.

First, high growth rate, high birth rate and high death rate are the important three stages in the democratic evolution. “Because of birth and death rates are high, there is balance. This is the first stage” According to the adviser. Second 1950, was the most important year for India because India got independence. The first thing that the government does is improving the medical breakthrough. They discovered and they made antibiotics to facing the biggest problem in India since that time which is typhoid. The medical breakthroughs made in developed counties, “this knowledge could be replicated in Asia and Africa”. So all these thing affected and resulted in the population growth. Finally, government investment in health and education; they improve this tow thing. They focus in the women how they will acceptance the availability of contraceptives. With this steps Indian government try to focus on small and healthy families for the economic and social development. After all of these steps the growth rate in India has came down. 1951, growth rate come down but on the other side the population size was increasing, because the high proportion of young people on India. Growing number became up because the underdevelopment of the economic development. In Cairo, in1994, India change there strategy and they made new policy to control the population. Indian people want to accept contraceptive methods, but they didn’t know about it; the information is not available and the population function unable to provide it.

Underdevelopment of economy is the biggest problem in India. According to the adviser, “we have to try to implement vocational training and education, to catchup.” For example, India should have to process a system for the young, and also give them special program for the training; this plan will be the challenge for them.

India is an emerging country. “ India may become the global power in the not-too-distant future.” For example, India is one of the youngest countries in the world; “it has long-term repercussions on individual lives, health system, security demography, economy, and development,” according to Almas Ali.

Unemployed young people have an effect on the society and this has a negative effect on the problem of India. “I think about 30 persent of adolescent young people in India, and globally, are illiterate.” According to the adviser. For example, a lot of young Indian people have a problem; some of them are not properly utilized, and some of them could became the biggest liability.

Government of India should find anew system; India should planned to control the population rate; to provide a good economy for the Indian people because, more than 1 billion Indian lived in one country 90% of them they have lees income about 1$ every day, so we can see that the Indian people lived them country and work in other country. In this issue the government of India should spend the money that they have it in good way, they need to found new organization and program to tell the Indian people that they should stop the population and the overpopulation is not good for the country, also found new system to improved the economic.
